Board Nominations

If you are considering getting involved on the CMT Board, now's your opportunity! We have two positions becoming vacant for the 2025-2027 term.


Candidates to the Board:

A candidate for Director is qualified for election to office if the candidate is:

  1. not a bankrupt, and is a resident of Canada, over 18 years of age.

  2. a member in good standing of CMT and has been a member in good standing during the previous TWELVE (12) month period immediately prior to the TWO (2) year period within which the candidate intends to be elected to the Board.

  3. a person who is not a Board or executive member with any other musical theatre company or group that is part of Music Theatre Mississauga. 

  4. not in a conflict of interest of a nature that would compromise that candidate’s impartial and dedicated service as a Director of the Board.

AGM date

Please mark your calendars to attend our AGM on September 16th. This will be a virtual meeting, and a link will be sent out closer to the date. We look forward to seeing those who can attend. Please watch for a late summer newsletter with more info.

A chance to meet the cast, see some old friends and celebrate the community we all love and share. Come join the fun!


Fundraising

We continue to welcome volunteers to join us to fundraise. Funds raised not only significantly support our productions (fall, Christmas Cheer Choir, spring concert) but also are forwarded to our community. Our most recent contribution was to aid the control of wildfires which have ravaged Canada.
