Hello all! We hope you are all prepared for Christmas; tis the season!
It's been a very busy fall for CMT with our production of Anastasia and the Christmas Cheer Choir. Anastasia was sold out completely! It was wonderfully received by our audience every night with standing ovations and cheers. From Russia to Paris the audience were enthralled by every scene, the wonderful costumes, sets, orchestra, dancing, projections and acting and singing. We even had a train on stage! The ballet scene was beautiful to watch as our amazing ballet dancers danced to the music of Swan Lake! Congratulations to everyone involved in making this show, such a special experience for our 80th Anniversary celebration!
Our Christmas Cheer Choir…
…had eight wonderful performances, each one well received and enjoyed by their audiences. Our Ruth McDonald is retiring this year after many years of amazing work directing this choir. We extend our gratitude and heartfelt thanks for all her leadership and direction in bringing so much joy and happiness to so many over the years! Thank you so much Ruth!
Our spring concert...
...will be directed by Erica Astles assisted by Joey Gargero. The theme this year will be “From Good to Evil” featuring a selection of songs from various musicals. Please go to our website if you wish to sign up for an audition. All details can be found there plus a selection of audition songs as suggested by Erica. Those wishing to audition to become a member can also sign up for an audition time. If you are a current member please sign up to let us know you want to be part of the concert. Concert dates are May 8th and 9th.
