CMT announces our artistic team and other news

Clarkson Music Theatre is pleased to announce the Artistic Team for All Shook Up - . We welcome: Craig Marshall - Artistic Director. Bob Riddell -Choreographer, and Jenny Peace -Music Director. Producers; Rita Ferguson, Christine McMahon and Susan Wray Toogood. We are confident that our Thea Award winning team will pull out all the stops for this goofy, wonderful, toe tapping production, featuring the music (not the story) of Elvis Presley. Stay tuned for details on how you can be a part of this great crowd pleasing musical. Can't wait - you could say we're "all shook up"!

In other news, as Clarkson Music Theatre begins the new year, we do so in the hopes of sharing with our community. In this spirit, we thank our Christmas Cheer Choir for their eleven amazing shows shared with Senior Centres in the Community. Thank you to our music director Ann Wright, our producer Seona Sydor, and our wonderful cast who worked over two weeks to share the spirit of the season.  In the same spirit of generosity, CMT thanks our members and our audience for enabling us to share our good fortune through charitable donations to our community. This year, your Board of Directors has chosen to sponsor: Credit Valley Hospital, Ian Anderson House, Interim Place, the Jerry Love Foundation, Wellspring, and  (through the Red Cross), the Syrian Refugee Crisis. Thanks for putting "community" into "Community Theatre". 

Finally, we acknowledge the passing of Lorraine Scott, who was a proud member of Clarkson for many years. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family. Thanks Lorraine, for being such a dynamic part of the CMT family. Ever in our hearts...
