This program, to be given at Christ Church United, offers youth from 9 - 16 years of age an opportunity to work with a group of professional instructors in the creation of a musical theatre production. Students will be taught skills in all three disciplines: acting, music and dance. These skills are valuable tools students will be able to use in the future, and, more immediately, in the final musical production of our workshop - 
   Disney's "High School Musical!"

Prior theatre experience is not necessary. We welcome those who are new to the stage, as well as those with prior theatrical experience. However, all students must have the desire and enthusiasm to learn. Students will experience the fun and excitement of music theatre. As well as onstage skills, other areas of production will be highlighted. These include set building, props, scenery, costumes and make-up techniques.

All our instructors have college or university education in the performing arts and currently work in the local theatre scene. We offer students the most professional, theoretical and practical instruction available anywhere. We're proud to launch this latest venture from Clarkson Music Theatre - a community group with over sixty years experience producing successful shows.

Participants will be responsible for their own lunch. We will eat in the church building and/or the small park on the west side of the Church. A fridge and microwave oven are available on site.
